Meet Sammy

Sammy is a Dutch Shepherd Mix. He Medium / Small about 1 year old. Our Samwise came into the shelter with Salmon poisoning and he recovered nicely from this, but is too shy for as crowded as the shelter is. He just needs someone to show him that new things in the world are not scary. He came from a rural area where it was quiet and not much loud or new occurred. Sammy loves other dogs and was fine in the kitty room. He is good on a lead and for those he knows and trusts he come when called off lead. When he came into the shelter he was really afraid and alarmed barked, but when I went into his kennel he melted in my lap. He is one good looking little guy! I am getting Sammy neutered and a rabies shot this week and so he will be neutered and up to date on shots. UPDATE IS IN EMERGENCY FOSTER CARE BUT IS STILL AVAILABLE FOR RESCUE.
