This is Boris

Boris is an American Bulldog Mix. He is 14 years old. This sweetheart came in with his very much younger gal pal. His gal is up for adoption at the shelter and currently they are double bunked to save space, but this boy needs a place to leave out his remaining time. He has never been neutered, but the vet has indicated that he is healthy enough to survive a neuter at his age. He does have a tumor on his side and tumors on his scrotum and needs dental work. The shelter emergency fund has been depleted by two hip surgeries and because of his age will not be getting these procedures done before he leaves the shelter. The estimate was $90.00 for neuter; $11.00 for rabies; $180.00 for analysis of the scrotum. Did not get an estimate on the teeth other than $50.00 per tooth. UPDATE - IN FOSTER CARE. Everyone who meets Boris loves him - he is smiling all the time! Medical work has been done and the boy was taking in stride the infection that was associated with his teeth and is even more of a sweetie than before the work was done :O)
